I can see through your clutch OOTD

Today I kind of cheated on my wear-heels-everyday challenge by wearing these chelsea boots, but technically, they have a slight heel so I'll let myself off  >.<

Once again I stole some of my sister's clothes because she's usually away at uni so I see this as a short opportunity to upgrade my wardrobe (reaaally need to go shopping)!

So, I've adopted a new challenge in order to embrace my height and that's to wear heels (high or low) with almost every outfit (emphasis on the word ALMOST).

Yesterday's church outfit consisted of raiding my sisters wardrobe and teaming it with altered men's trousers and a handmade bag - I really need to go shopping!

DIY inspirations: Bags Bags Bags

I've been feeling especially creative this summer and so yesterday I went out and bought some 'goodies' that will help me create a whole heap of bags - clutch bags, make up bags, big bags, small bag, lots and lots of bags!

Here are a few inspirations I found from all over the net. Stay tuned as I'll definitely be putting up tutorials for anyone that wants to make one for themselves and I'll also be setting up an etsy.com shop for those that want to purchase a handmade accessory.

Zanzibar!!

So I've just arrived back from my 5 week visit to Tanzania *cries* and I just HAVE to do a post on the beautiful Tanzanian island known as ZANZIBAR *cries again*

Despite having been to Tanzania at least 8 times now this was our first time visiting the island and its possibly the most gorgeous place EVER!! I just.. I can't even... UGH I'll let the pictures do the talking ;)

Photo shoot: KIKI's Fashion

So I've been MIA for a long time now and that's because I was out if this rainy country and living it up in Tanzania. It's been six years since we last visited and I had the most AMAZING time!!!

Among all of the great things I did over there, I ended up doing a bit a modelling for various designers, one of which was a lady named Kiki who designs using the traditional Tanzanian 'kitenge' fabric

I'm quite happy with how the photographs turned out considering this was one of my first shoots and the fact that we all almost drown at that beach (long but scary story)!!

Sunday Best

A few Sundays ago A group of us 'graduated' our new partners class at church. It was an amazing day with amazing weather and AMAZING outfits. Everyone looked sooo pretty *cries*

Initially I was planning to find a printed pant suit to wear because I thought it would be a fun alternative to a dress, however, that plan went out the window when I walked into work and saw this absolutely gorgeous ZARA floor length gown. I'm currently in love with all things white & cream and as it I wasn't already sold, the dress was actually full length on me (which I rarely find with my height)! It was fate.

I also want to point out the eye-catching orange dress which my lovely friend and future business partner Rilyn made herself from scratch!

Am I really in the UK? This crazy sunshine's had me feeling -and living- like I'm on holiday which is bad considering I still have exams left.
