Am I really in the UK? This crazy sunshine's had me feeling -and living- like I'm on holiday which is bad considering I still have exams left.

Anywho my city started looking so much better in the sun so I couldn't help but snap a few pics

DIY studded clutch

So following on from my post on DIY inspiration, I finally found the time to make it a reality (at the expense of some important revision mind you) .

I decided to go for something really simple and made a studded clutch bag. It was sooooo simple to make and the longest thing about it was the studding itself.

Met Gala 2012

Bleurgh. That pretty much sums up my reaction to this year's Metropolitan Museum's Costume Gala. In terms of fashion, this is usually my most anticipated red carpet affair as it’s a chance for the celebs to go all out in the most extravagant frocks. This year however was - how can I put it - bleurgh. I feel like most of the ladies held back and played it safe. Clearly, they must have got their dates mixed up and thought they were attending the Oscars or something!


Anywhooo, out of all the bleurgh outfits there were two exceptions. My ULTIMATE favourites were the stunning Karolina Kurkova in Rachel Zoe and the forever stylish Mary-Kate Olsen donning her own label, The Row. 


These ladies obviously got the memo. Bravo ladies *claps hands*

I have a bit more free time and so I've decided to put my creative skills to some good use. stay tuned and I'll be posting DIY tutorial of anything that tickles my fancy. I'm not one to splash out on expensive items when you can easily make your own version ;)

Lovely Loubs

So I'm sure you've all seen Beyonce, Kim K, Lala and other celebs rocking these babies but I had to make a post on the Christian Louboutin Unbout Illusion Pumps! This man is a genius when it comes to simple yet innovative shoe designs that are guaranteed to start a craze. Bare in mind that this is coming from a girl who isn't particularly keen on pointed toe shoes. If I had my pick I'd probably go for the black but the neons also have me drooling. Take a look
